October 23, 2009 - It’s the talk of the town in several major US cities – The American Fertility Association’s Manicures & Martinis Infertility Prevention Series, and it’s heading to Beverly Hills next, November 10th. The program is fun, free, and educational, and targets young, professional women in their 20s and 30s who are invited to enjoy complimentary manicures and martinis. Manicures & Martinis LA will be held at Bellacures Salon in Beverly Hills, where guests observe and engage in a one hour conversation with Dr. Guy Ringler, MD, a fertility specialist with California Fertility Partners.

“Despite popular belief, there are types of infertility which can actually be prevented. Young women, regardless of where they are in their personal or professional lives, should know about what they should be doing now to safeguard their fertility. We’re out to let them know STDs and certain types of chemicals cause infertility. Plus, they need to also be made aware that the biological clock is real, it’s ticking, and fertility starts to decline in their mid-20s. Conveying these messages is the primary goal of this program,” says The AFA’s Communications Director, Brian Armentrout.
