We all know that stress can create havoc with the body. But did you know that it can lower your chances of conceiving?
Doctors are starting to identify stress as a factor in infertility.
As any woman who has been trying to get pregnant knows, it can be a highly stressful time, filled with anxiety,depression and also disappointment. It seems that every month becomes a roller coaster of emotions. The complicated process of trying to conceive is beyond our control, which in itself is a source of anxiety and challenges us to let go and trust.
This series of yoga classes are taught with an intention of nurturing you through your journey in a calm, grounding, and supportive manner. We will use asanas (movement) meditation and breathwork to help increase your chances of getting pregnant.
But, even more important, the classes provide a place of healing and peace. Realizing that you are not alone gives you a chance to receive and give support to other women. It will aid you in making the transition from negative feelings and thoughts to a stronger sense of self. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
